“I lost my son in Mumbai on Friday. Though I do not like to call him a martyr, I can proudly say that he has done something for this country.” - Sandeep's dad.
Frankly speaking, I don't understand how to accept such a tragedy. What does it really mean, to live or to die for one's country? Aren't these just palliatives we are using to balm our grief? I wonder if they would still be singing patriotic songs in heaven, our martyrs? I am sorry, but life is too precious to be wasted this way. Its barbaric to justify it and call it patriotism.

Grasshopper: That's the reason I have quoted Sandeep's dad. He does not want his son to be called a martyr.
