Vishwa Manava (The Universal Man) is Kuvempu and the members of the Bhumiputra organisation: Karnataka Rakshana Vedike celebrate the Vishwa Manava Dina on December 29th around his statue at Malleshwaram Circle.

Why is Kuvempu called Viswa Manava or Universal Man?
