“I lost my son in Mumbai on Friday. Though I do not like to call him a martyr, I can proudly say that he has done something for this country.” - Sandeep's dad.

  2. Frankly speaking, I don't understand how to accept such a tragedy. What does it really mean, to live or to die for one's country?
    Aren't these just palliatives we are using to balm our grief?
    I wonder if they would still be singing patriotic songs in heaven, our martyrs?
    I am sorry, but life is too precious to be wasted this way. Its barbaric to justify it and call it patriotism.
