That's interesting! Is that really how these names are pronounced in Tamil? Or is it a misspelled Tamil version of something like "Shine" Board Arts?

That is how it is written in Tamil. But you read it out normallyAccording to Wikipedia: The Tamil script consists of 12 vowels, 18 consonants and one special character, the āytam. That fewer than other Indian scripts.
